Luke Bronin for Congress (CT-01) is seeking a Content Manager for the 2026 election cycle to manage and develop content for the candidate’s social media platforms. The ideal candidate is highly creative, eager to take initiative, and works quickly. The content manager will be expected to staff the candidate in person at times. This is a full-time position based in Hartford, CT.
Responsibilities
Travel with the candidate around the district to document events through photo, video, and audio.
Draft and create static and dynamic content for all major social media platforms.
Create and maintain a social media content calendar.
Stay on top of social media trends and integrate trends with the existing social media calendar.
Maintain regular communication with campaign leadership and consultants about social media needs and priorities.
Monitor the campaign’s social media and email inboxes and disseminate important information to the appropriate team member.
Other duties as assigned, which may grow over the course of the cycle depending on the campaign’s needs and the staffer’s demonstrated strengths.
Qualifications
At least one cycle of experience in political communications, including as an intern.
Excellent writing and grammar skills.
Deep knowledge of major social media platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, and X), plus experience with photo, video, and audio editing software.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail.
Willingness to work weekends and evenings in a fast-paced campaign environment.
A driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable access to a vehicle to travel with or drive the candidate around the district.
Compensation
$4,000-$5,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
Health insurance stipend up to $400/mo, if needed.
