Field Organizer

Dr. Mariah Lancaster for Congress (MA-06) is seeking Field Organizers for the 2026 election cycle to execute the campaign’s direct voter contact efforts. Organizers must be friendly, energetic, and patient, with superior interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. Organizers must be based in the district and able to report to HQ in Salem, MA, but may work on a full-time or part-time basis.
Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for canvasses, phonebanks, and text banks.
Manage turf assignments and ensure data accuracy and timely reporting of field metrics.
Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, supporters, and local organizations.
Track daily goals using campaign data tools.
Plan and execute voter engagement events (e.g. canvasses, meet and greets, roundtables, etc.)
Work closely with the campaign leadership to implement the field plan and adapt strategies based on data feedback.
Other duties as assigned, which may grow over the course of the cycle depending on the campaign’s needs and the staffer’s demonstrated strengths.
Qualifications
Familiarity with campaign tools such as Votebuilder, MiniVAN, and Google Sheets preferred.
Previous campaign, organizing, or community outreach experience is a plus, but not required.
Commitment to the candidate’s progressive campaign platform.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail.
Willingness to work weekends and evenings in a fast-paced campaign environment.
Preference will be given to applicants with a driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
Compensation
Full-time: $3,000-$4,500 per month, commensurate with experience
Part-time: $1,500-$2,250 per month, commensurate with experience
